After years of clamoring by Andy Timmons fans, especially those in the U.S.A (and especially those in Texas where the guitarist calls home), Ibanez is reissuing the original Andy Timmon’s signature model electric guitar.
Commented the acclaimed session player on the new incarnation of his favorite axe: “I'm very proud to announce that Ibanez and I have agreed to re-issue the original AT100 on a global scale. As opposed to the original AT100, which was a limited production—we think about 300 were made— the AT100CLSB will be available worldwide and will be made to the exact specs as the original including the hand shaped neck.”

The AT100CLSB Andy Timmons signature model features a special digitalized round neck with a handcrafted feel, an alder body, Wilkinson – Gotoh VSVG bridge, and DiMarzio Cruiser pickups in the neck and middle positions. In the bridge position is DiMarzio’s AT1 Andy Timmons signature humbucker of which Steve Blucher of DiMarzio explained, “The outstanding characteristics of the AT model are balance, warmth and clarity. It achieves this blend with the same patented technology as the 36th anniversary PAF, but the sound is hotter and the focus is rock.”
The list price is of the AT100CLSH is $3066.65. As with all Ibanez’s Japanese-made Prestige and artist signature models, a deluxe hardshell case is included.
At the Winter NAMM musical instrument convention in Anaheim where the ATL100CLSB will debut, Andy Timmons will perform at both the Simon Phillips 30th Anniversary Retrospective sponsored by Tama Drums,ß and Paul Gilbert’s PGM Signature 20th Anniversary Concert sponsored by Ibanez Guitars.
